Field Guide: The Naga

I always liked field guides especially the aesthetic of them, so when I sketch fantasy creatures I create biology and ways to "make sense" of all these otherwise impossible animals. I'm no biologist but it's a really fun way for me to sketch and gets me thinking. I was inspired a lot by the "Spiderwick Chronicles Field Guide".
So anyways here's my interpretation of the naga! I originally sketched it in my sketch pad then scanned it and brought it into Photoshop to render.
I'm also not much of a writer but it was fun!
